Simulation of HVI on aluminum foam and model parameter analysis

- Abstract
Aluminum foam has shown its advantages and applicability in the shield design of spacecraft. In order to study the HVI phenomena on open cell aluminum foam, the open cell aluminum foam model is built according to random laguerre tessellations. And HVI simulation experiments is achieved based on these models. As parameters of open cell aluminum foam, the average diameter of ligaments, pore and cell determined its configuration and the experiment results. So various models with various parameters are built and simulated in groups. In this way, their influences on aluminum foam's HVI phenomena are analysed.
