- Abstract
Housekeeping in space for the future Abstrast SpaceLab ,Space station and the mission to the moon and beyond will necessitate new approaches to prolong the human working time and the life of the spacecraft. Housekeeping is a key part of habitability, It plays an import role in maintaining the crew’s health, safety and their sentiments. In China, Human space flight programs can be divided into short and long duration missions. This paper explores housekeeping used in the past programs and discusses how to making use of our limited resources to lengthen the life of the spacecraft. By studying the relation between housekeeping and maintaining of equipment, supply of fuel and consumables, We can learn from the past and establish a housekeeping data base to meet the need for long duration flight mission.
