    Abstract
    JAXA has been operating the Japanese Experiment Module, Kibo, of the International Space Station (ISS) for three years and has finished its first phase utilization already. While continuing Kibo utilization for more various researches and applications which were selected as the second phase themes, JAXA started evaluating the experiment results and publicizing outcomes from the researches.
    This paper will show the accomplishments of Kibo utilization to date and a perspective of future research activities of JAXA based on the fact that the ISS will continue to be operational until 2020.
