    Abstract
Planar and Uniaxial tests were implemented to achieve 3nd order-5th item strain model constant of the elastomer, proved this model was superior to others, and was useful the latter simulation. In order to measure the shear modulus of the elastomer in different pressure, designed biaxial device and three-board sample, proceeded the shear-compression test, simulated this process. The test results show that the shear modulus of the elastomer doesn’t decrese with enhancing compression, which the simulation agreed with well. The conclusions are useful for designing flexible joint of solid rocket motor.
