    Abstract
In the coming decades, the Aerospace sector will have to face a wide range of challenges such as human space exploration, environmental protection, science and technical development for the human benefit and international cooperation. To succeed in this purpose, agencies, companies and organizations should attract the best talents around the world as well as to focus on reaching a skilled and motivated workforce. The future scientists, engineers and leaders, which will deal with these challenges, are today young professionals who are part of a new generation characterized by globalization, competitiveness or communications technology among others. This fact implies that a better understanding on their needs and expectations is required to attain the workforce that the sector demands. Based on the experience of LEEM, a student and young professional organization completely oriented to bring Space closer to the next generation, this paper focuses on the mentioned aspects from a perspective in first person of those professionals who are in the early stages of their careers.
