- Abstract
Institute of Space and Astronautical Science(ISAS) is based on inter-university research promotion system in Japan, and is doing research in whole coverage of space technologies. It is "idea into flight missions and missions stimulate research" that is the essential standing point of ISAS. Our goal is to create, and also execute a new and challenging missions and programs in JAXA. This paper presents the space science missions in ISAS/JAXA, and also shows related activities to encourage basic space technological research.
