- Abstract
The CAST Conical Microwave Radiometer(CCMR) is one of four microwave payloads for Chinese Ocean observation satellite, build by CAST'XIAN. The CCMR covers frequency bands from 6.6GHz to 37GHz, receives earth radiation with two feed-horn, provides capabilities for observing sea surface temperature, wind speed, water vapor and liquid water etc. The CCMR was lunched on 16 August 2011. This paper provides an overview of the instrument characteristics and early data products.
