Abstract

In March 2012 the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology together with DLR organizes the 2. National Conferenced on Space Robotics.
This conference reflected the achievements within the Automation and Robotics sub-program of Germanys Space Program and a roadmap for future activities in the field was annonced.
The paper will give an overview over work that was done in the areas of earth orbit infrastructure, space exploration and technologiy transfer into terrestrial applications. Together with the roadmap it describes the political, economical and technological goals to be achieved for Germany and the national Space Program within the coming years.
