Abstract

Entrepreneurship and investment can be enhanced by considering the global citizenship and universal consciousness models. Demonstrating that outer space activities can meet the needs of the global community makes it more likely that public perceptions of entrepreneurs and investors are viewed more favorably.

As international partnerships become more common to reach new goals for human and robotic space exploration missions, our global society must begin to attract a broader audience of diverse people in order to maximize human skill sets and talents needed for the next phases of outer space development. A trend is underway of increased patterns of international interdependency in exploration missions, operations, road-mapping, planning, space architecture and transportation systems. These newly emerging space industries will require a new type of entrepreneur. People who are responsible, cognizant global citizens, with capacity for thinking in ways consistent with universal consciousness. The existence of these phenomena could prove to stabilize peaceful international and interpersonal relations during long duration missions.  

In addition to scientists and engineers, the next steps towards space exploration will also require visionary entrepreneurs to create new and responsible space industries which are sensitive to the needs the world. This paper will outline lessons learned regarding these needs and will set forth a proposed methodology for using space exploration, space transportation, space mining, and commercial space settlements as a means for satisfying specific needs of the international community. The paper will also discuss strategies for achieving global citizenship and universal consciousness. It will explain how achieving these goals may potentially reduce cross-cultural and interpersonal conflicts during space missions. It will analyze past historical, ideological, religious, social, moral, ethical, economic, psychological, institutional social and behavioral patterns, and varying perceptions regarding civil rights and human rights.
