- Abstract
After extensive research regarding important and influential people in the field of astronautics, a review and analysis has been conducted to list the top most influential figures in astronautics throughout history. The present paper describes who the most influential people in astronautics are and why they had been chosen for the list. The list of notable persons is made with a focus on individual technical contributions and the far-reaching and advancing effects of those contributions. Additionally, a personal biography of each person has been included as well as a detailed look at their professional careers. Finally, it is proven why these noteworthy individuals are the most influential in the field of astronautics.
