- Abstract
Around the world, research parks have become more prevalent over the past decade. Research parks have many benefits for the host organization and the tenants. Partnerships and collaborations are created between start-up companies, small to medium companies, academic institutions, and government agencies. This paper examines several research parks from around the United States and world to compare and contrast general traits, commonalities, differences, and success factors. From the findings, the authors recommend improvements for current research parks and frameworks for future research parks.
