Terminology is the studies for the vocabulary of technical and scientific terms used in a particular field, subject, science, or art; nomenclature. Especially as the technical and scientific terms, the meaning and the definition for these terms should be clearly defined. With the explosive progress of sciences, the terms for describing new phenomena and new discovery are increasing very fast. English terms for sciences increase more and more, many terms are very hard to memory and become the patents for specialists. Chinese language is not alphabetic writing, but for Chinese language most of modern scientific terms can be written as Chinese terms with the common Chinese characters most Chinese people can read. Even when modern sciences in 19 century and 20 century were transported into China, some new Chinese characters are created, and there are some arguments for how to use different Chinese Character to express the scientific terms, and some Chinese Characters have with some ambiguity in different situation. Like in English, Space, this term has many different meaning, and there are some synonymic terms, like Universe, Cosmology. Scientific and Lingual Issues of Terminology Studies in the Field of Space Science in comparison between English and Chinese languages will be discussed in detail.
