    Abstract
This paper discusses the near Earth objects that landed in different parts of Nigeria, their impact crater, nature and Risks. These objects which were classified as “finds” and “falls” were collected by the scientists of the Centre For Basic Space Science CBSS, National Space Research and Development Agency, Nsukka, Nigeria. The objects were analyzed using atomic absorption spectrometer, petrographic microscope and other facilities. The meteorites show that they belong to two different classes – the stony and iron types. Also preliminary studies of the Harvard Smithsonian Centre For Astrophysics, Cambridge, USA indicated that these samples were ordinary earth crossing meteorites. The meteorites crater formations modeled through simulations were found to be significant and depends on the structure of the meteorite and the property of the surface of the Earth.
