    Abstract
Space has opened challenges in many technological areas since its dawn. Structure is one of the most important areas whose innovated solutions are absolutely necessary in realizing challenging space systems. Major structural issues in the past, mainly focusing on the personal experiences, both in launch vehicles and spacecraft, will be reviewed. Prospect of further issues and possible directions for better contribution to the humanity in near and far future will be presented for consideration within our community.
