- Abstract
In this paper，the design formulas in domestic and overseas literatures for the flexible Joint were analyzed and compared，the differences of all the formulas were illuminated and the mistakes of the formulas were pointed out. Stresses were calculated using the different design formulas for a certain flexible joint ，and the results were compared with the FEM，and thus the reasonable design formulas for the flexible Joint were brought forward.On the basis of these works，the suggestions of amending the formulas were brought forward.
