    Abstract
The Space Environment Reliability Verification Integrated System (SERVIS) project started in 1999 and has been continuing with the objective of establishing technical knowledge bases for using Commercial-Off-The-Shelf parts and technologies (COTS) for their utilization for space application.
At present, SERVIS-3 project is undergoing for developing the advanced experimental equipment by utilizing cutting-edge COTS.
The Green Propellant Reaction Control System (GPRCS) is to be installed and is under development in the SERVIS-3 project.
A HAN (Hydroxyl Ammonium Nitrate)-based propellant thruster is applied to the GPRCS. We use the propellant developed by Japan Aerospace eXploration Agency (JAXA), which is expected to realize the higher performance among so called green propellant.
So far, firing tests were conducted with change of injector and combustion chamber configurations for obtaining the fundamental thruster characteristics.
In this study, the development status of HAN-based propellant thruster including firing test results and its application to SERVIS-3 project are reported.
