- Abstract
A review of the development and the related techniques of gelled propellants are presented. Firstly, the concept, classified, characteristics of gelled propellants are introduced, Both advantage and disadvantage between traditional solid or liquid propellants and gelled propellants are compared. Secondly, the status and prospective application of gelled propellants are analyzed. Thirdly, the key technologies such as theology, combustibility, energy, stockpile and dulpli-ignition capabilities are summarized. Finally, the application of gelled propellants engineering test motor on satellite launch are described.
