    Abstract
Engineering and scientific personnel training is one of the urgent problems of retaining the high scientific and technical potential for the space rocket industry in Ukraine. On the one hand, the circles of educational institutions, training specialists for the space rocket industry, declined dramatically within the independent Ukraine. On the other hand, the younger generation does not think of an engineer, designer, technologist job as prestigious that makes considerable difficulties in calling the young hopefuls to companies who are able to realize the promising space projects.
In new conditions of economic and social development of the Ukraine, as a space power, there emerged a necessity of new concept formation of problem solving of qualified engineers and scientists training for the space rocket industry, and enhancement of the efficiency of the engineering educational system. The general strategy of this problem solution is in integration of secondary school, higher education institutions (HEI), scientific-research institutes and industry companies’ efforts for the earlier finding of the most capable students and their involvement in training system of specialists for the space rocket industry according to the continuous education scheme: school – HEI – company.
The above system elements are as follows: selection and earlier occupational guidance of students, application of different modes of full-time and correspondence training of students in all Ukrainian regions, making up of the long-term program for the young people participation in space exploration, industry and higher education institutions cooperation in specialists training, creation of mechanisms of employers involvement in development of educational policy, and enhancement of their role in the personnel training, etc.
The report analyzes the experience and results of collaboration of Yuzhnoye SDO, Dniepropetrovsk National University, National Center of Aerospace Education of Youth in Ukraine as well as other scientific and industrial organizations on building up the continuous space educational system in Ukraine.
