- Abstract
Founded in 1968, China Astronaut Research and Training Center (for short, Astronaut Center of China) is engaged in space medico-engineering research and astronaut’s selection and training, dealing with space physiology, space psychology, space environmental medicine, space ergonomics, space suit technology, spacecraft environmental control and support life systematic technology, etc. Since 1978 reform and open to the outside world, there are ten members and communication members of International Academy of Astronautics (abbreviation, IAA) in Astronaut Center of China (abbreviation: ACC). The members of IAA from ACC are Chen Xin, Jia Siguang, Wei Jinhe, Shen Liping, Zhuang Xiangchang, Yu Hebeng(woman), Liu Kejia, Chen Shanguang, Li Yinghui(woman), Yang Liwei, former 9 people are life section members of IAA and the last is engineering section member of IAA. Among of ten people, there are three leaders of China Manned Space Flight Engineering Office from ACC, there were four directors of ACC, there were two vice directors of ACC, there were two chairmen of science and technological committee in ACC, there were two specific duty experts for communication of space medico-engineering to the outside world, there are two directors of state and national key laboratories, there is one astronaut—the first man of China space flight. As the pioneers and top experts of ACC, these people lead their groups to study space flight problems about astronaut’s safety, health and performance. These people play a leading role in space medico-engineering development and technical support to astronaut system, space suit system, spacecraft environmental control and support life system in China Manned Space Flight Engineering. Meanwhile, theses people throw themselves into international communication. Their representative academic works include that China Medical Encyclopedia 71 Section—Aerospace Medicine (Chen xin, Jia Siguang, Mei Lei. 1985), Aerospace Anoxia and Oxygen Supply (Jia Siguang. 1989), Weightlessness Physiology (Zhuang Xiangchang,Pei Jingchen. 1990), Stress and Stress Diseases (Liu Kejia, Wu Yuee. 1991), Foundation of Space Medicine (Zhang Ruguo, Wei Jinghe. 1997), Spatiotemporal Biology (Chen Shanguang. 2009), Foundation of Manned Space Flight Engineering (Shen Liping, Chen Shanguang. 1997), Aerospace Craft-Man-Environmental Engineering (Chen Xin. 1996), Outline of Space Medico-engineering (Wei Jinhe, Huang Duansheng. 2005), Development of Space Medico-engineering in 60 years (Chen Shanguang. 2009).
