- Abstract
In the paintings of Russian artist Nikolay Fedorov are shown the extraordinary events happened in the wilderness around Tunguska, Siberia, on June 30, 1908. Fedorov was the only artist who took part to the scientific expedition of 1937 led by the Russian geologist Dr. Leonid Kulik. Today, the ”Tunguska Event” still puzzles the world with its unsolved mysteries. In the paintings are shown all scientific ideas about the Tunguska meteorite. Also, in the paintings are shown all stages of the meteorite flight, based on eyewitness gathered information.
