    Abstract
Lunar probe is different from traditional spacecraft, of which the soft landing procedure required to undergo a novel shock environment. The equipments (payload & rover) worked on lunar surface should go through the shock environment. In this paper, the dynamics responses of soft landing are solved by using FEM based on typical landing conditions. Shock response spectrum is utilized to describe the shock environment of soft landing. To simplify the identification test type of lunar probe, the method of Equivalent assessment is proposed using sub-band validation (0-10Hz, 10Hz-100Hz, 100Hz-2000Hz) for shock environment. The shocks less than 10Hz are simplified to static load based on the principle of theorem of impulse. The shocks of 10 Hz-100 Hz can be described by equivalent sinusoidal loads. The shocks of 100Hz-2000Hz can be described by equivalent random loads. This method has been successfully applied in the Chang’e 3 lunar probe.
