    Abstract
During the month of September 2014, a group of graduate students from Arabian Universities will make a field visit to the SALM Moon Mars Analogue Site in Reunion Island to assess the potential for analog studies for Moon and Mars volcanic structures.
This paper will report on the variety of opportunities concerning :
    - the study of lava tubes and other structures at Piton de la Fournaise volcano,
    - an overview of sampling and other exploration and evaluation techniques that may be suitable for use on Solar System bodies and that may be developed and tested on the analogue site.
