    Abstract
Developing space workforce is a both time and budget consuming challenge. In order to overcome such challenges, one of a complex but routinely successful matter to continuously develop space workforce in Seoul National University is introduced. Started from the need of an on-hand experience in the year 2006, Seoul National University professors and students gathered to start a CanSat project. Ever since, the CanSat team have applied for various Korean government outreach activity offers, university projects and exhibitions to seek for available budgets to continue their CanSat and CubeSat activities. The team participated in ARLISS (A Rocket Launch for International Student Satellites) in a yearly basis for the basic training of students, with research programs in parallel to focus in specific research topics. After 5 years of effort, Seoul National University has started developing their first CubeSat, SNUSAT-1. This paper introduces the past and current activities that utilize outreach activities to develop space workforce. A routine of activities, which have been going around for the past 8 years that the students participate in order to overcome time and budget challenges is described. Lastly, future plans and future vision of space workforce development is introduced and possible solutions for limited access to resources in Korea is suggested.
