    Abstract
    The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) is an organisation that represents young professionals and students in the space sector. It was created by the United Nations at the UNISPACEIII in Vienna, Austria, in 1999. Since its inception, SGAC has promoted space education and outreach, focusing on space policy and international relations in both legal and political aspects as well as technical and scientifically aspects of the space area.

    After 15 years of continuous growth, SGAC is now able to organise activities around the world that have proven to be successful for both developing countries and space-faring nations.

    This paper is a summary of the type of activities that SGAC successfully performed in the last year, as example on how education and information dissemination among the next generation of space leaders can successfully be implemented with a very strong international character.

    This paper covers different examples of these successful programmes:
    \begin{itemize}\item working groups based conference, such as the Space Generation Congress;\end{itemize}
    \begin{itemize}\item young professional panels and forum format conference, such as the Space Generation Fusion Forum\end{itemize}
    \begin{itemize}\item speed mentoring events, such as the SGAC Mentoring Event,\end{itemize}
    \begin{itemize}\item project groups, to allow intellectual exchange and team work, and\end{itemize}
    \begin{itemize}\item scholarship and competition programme, only for travel purposes.\end{itemize}

    This paper will give an overview on the successful key elements of each of those, and hopefully will serve as a reference for other organisations worldwide.
