    Abstract
    Women in Aerospace Europe (WIA-E) was co-founded by Simonetta Di Pippo and Claudia Kessler in May 2009, and announced publicly in June 2009 at Le Bourget at the ESA stand. Since then, WIA-E has demonstrated its increasing maturity with several initiatives. Currently, we count ≅ 350 members and 13 corporate members. Strategic agreements have been signed with WIA, ISU, COSPAR and SGAC. In 2013, WIA-E become member of IAF, as the only organization in the world in this field member of IAF.
    
    Women in Aerospace Europe has been created to answer the need in Europe to mobilize human beings – men and women – with the same perspectives and with the same values, with the aim of building up together a concrete and positive action in Europe, with a strong tight at global level in space, as a concrete peaceful examples of talents devoted to support a common bright future.
