    Abstract
Since 2008 National Technical Committee on Space Science and Application of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC312) was founded, Standardization for Terminology of Space Science has been put on an important position. Through about two years preprogram studies, in 2011 the project for Standardization for Terminology of Space Science and Application is approved and financed by Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China (SAC), which is the member of International Organization for Standardization (IOS). There are eight working groups for the project for Standardization for Terminology of Space Science and Application, they are 1. General Terminology for Space Science, 2. Space Physics, 3.Space Astronomy, 4. Lunar and Planetary Science, 5. Space Life Science and Biotechnology, 6. Space Medicine, 7. Microgravity Science, 8.Space Earth Science (to be organized for group 8), for group 1 to group 7 there are about ten members for each group, they are experts in the corresponding field in Space Science. Based on the discussion among the members of each group, from the terms selection for the terminology of space science to the discussion on the definition of the terms of the terminology of space science, with meetings or E mail communication in each step for the studies opinions were collected from the Chinese scientists in the field of Space Science about 50 scientists for each group. In the end of the final draft for Terminology for Space Science and Application was approved by Assembly of National Technical Committee on Space Science and Application of Standardization Administration of China. After the approvement by Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China (SAC), “Terminology for Space Science and Application” except group 8 “Space Earth Science’ will be published in China as a formal document to be distributed in China as a recommendation document to be used in China.
In this paper the detail of Studies on Standardization for Terminology of Space Science and Application in China and some consideration for IAA study group for Mutltiligual Dictionary for Space Science will be presented and discussed.
