- Abstract
Since meeting in Toronto for IAC 2014, the Mobile Servicing System, using Canadarm2, will have captured and berthed 5 resupply vehicles including 4 SpaceX Dragons and the 5th Japanese HII Transfer Vehicle. The Mobile Servicing Station (MSS) will have also performed a variety of station-keeping activities including EVA support activities. Dextre was also actively supporting ISS maintenance and resupply activities on the ISS including the 2nd Remote Power Controller Module replacement. This paper will provide an overview of MSS operations and the significant accomplishments achieved through various activities that have occurred in the past twelve months. On the human spaceflight front, Canadian astronauts continue their training for future flights to the ISS. Utilization of the ISS resources continued with Canadian participation in several experiments carried out on-board the ISS. The paper will provide a summary of the activities of the Canadian astronauts and on Canadian utilization activities. CSA continues to expand its abilities for utilization and robotic maintenance. Along with other ISS partners, CSA is working towards the goal of supporting space station operations to 2020 in order to continue to benefit from having a laboratory in space.
