- Abstract
The report represents the Russian ISS Research Program implementation review. It includes plans on further development and modernization of the ISS RS, and launches of new ISS modules. The implementation of the plans will ensure a considerable increase in the ISS RS capabilities and the number of applied scientific research conducted on the ISS RS. The article highlights the main fields of the ISS utilization. They are fundamental research, space exploration technology tests onboard the ISS, and the ISS utilization for humanity benefits. The article gives a comparison of Russian and foreign research programs, as well as of capabilities of different ISS modules for conducting space experiments. Particular stress is laid on an importance of a mutually beneficial international cooperation, joint research investigations and experiments for improvement of the ISS utilization effectiveness.
