- Abstract
This paper will investigate the possibility of standardizing launches of small satellites ranging from technology and manufacturing to policy, regulation and launch services. The current method of manufacturing launch vehicles will be explored and the associated complexities will be identified. The policy, insurance, logistics and other requirements will be investigated thoroughly to understand the process of sending a payload into space. Upon completely understanding the process, a standardized launch solution specific for small satellites will be presented and its possible future impact will be determined.
