    Abstract
The paper discusses the major developments in Russian national space program institutional structure that include establishing of United Rocket and Space Corporation holding consolidating most of the state-owned national space industries in March 2014 and creation of Roscosmos State Corporation, the new type of player combining space activities’ governance and practical implementation within the single body. The decision for the State Corporation creation was voiced by Russian leadership in January 2015. The paper considers the background and decision making drivers that led to the structural decisions that are probably most radical since the Russian Space Agency creation back in 1992. The early results are also discussed of the massive national space industry restructuring and decision making effort.
