    Abstract
    To supply the DFH-4 platform product line, based on mature DFH-4 platform, DFH-4S bus (DFH-4 Small and Smart Bus) and DFH-4E bus (DFH-4 Enhanced Bus) were developed in China, which can provide more flexible application, more reliable performance, and larger capability. DFH-4S bus adopting Li-ion batteries, avionics, and electrical propulsion system can be applied on medium capacity GEO satellite. Laosat-1 satellite is a communications satellite based on DFH-4S platform. In November 21st 2015, Laosat-1 satellite was successfully launched and delivered to Lao Country. Laosat-1 satellite exhibited good performance and stability in orbit. This paper introduces the development of DFH-4S platform and the flight performance of LAOSAT-1.
