Abstract

To answer to market changes in terms of price and new mission needs, Europe proposes to develop Ariane 6 in a new way relying on 4 main pillars :
\begin{itemize}
\item Design for exploitation with an end-to-end optimization from raw material to launch
\item Concurrent Working with Industrial partners in order to identify cost drivers and pain points in a Right First Time development logic
\item Standardization of designs, manufacturing methods, means and tools at launcher level
\item Industrial Policy set-up to maximize the use of industrial assets, limit the need for new ones and promote Lean culture to reduce waste 
\end{itemize}
in a continuous improvement way of working.
