    Abstract
The world is experiencing a refugee crisis. Hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees are flooding Europe. Even if a ceasefire is enforced, will those refugees return to the shattered nation with very little infrastructure left? There are many ways that satellites and spacecraft could help refugees rebuild their lives either by helping them reconnect with their families or build new lives in their adopted countries. By exploring ways that Syrian refugees can benefit from access to satellites and other spacecraft, those strategies can be applied to other refugee crises around the world.
