- Abstract
The Strategy for Research and Application of Space Technology towards 2020 was approved by Vietnamese Government in 2006. Since this time, many satellite projects have been started in Vietnam. However, the new of space technology and the lack of human resources are major challenge factors to implement satellite development projects in Vietnam. To pass this issue, the education programs such as undergraduate and postgraduate are important to provide high qualified human resources for projects and also to prepare young generation for near future plans. Vietnam National Satellite Center (VNSC) is a national research organization in space technology that established on 2011 with the long-term road map to make small satellite classes from pico, nano, micro to small satellite. To contribute to the education strategy in Vietnam, VNSC is supporting to implement two new collaboration models in Aerospace Engineering with Vietnamese universities. The first model is collaborating with the University of Engineering and Technology under Vietnam National University (UET-VNU) and the second model is with the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH - Vietnam-France University). Those two models have effectively initial results after a period of implementation. In this paper, the collaboration models and results between VNSC and Vietnamese universities will be described.
