- Abstract
The paper will portray a special educational activity of which the author was responsible: the space suits travelling outreach educational activities on behalf of the Israeli Space Agency. The Israel Space Agency got on loan from the Heinlein Prize Trust two Russian space suits, and used them as a tool for space education throughout Israel. The author wrote special curricula that was published on the website of the Israel space agency, and was used by educators and students nation wide. In addition, he traveled to various schools - from K-12 - with the space suits and gave special presentations and demonstrations. In addition, the paper will explore the educational benefits, the science and engineering aspects, and share the experience gained from this project. The materials conceived and written by the author will be adopted by the Heinlein Prize Trust to use in other countries as well.
