    Abstract
At present exist an emphasis on environmental care and we try to involve students from their school, home or with their friends actively participating as observers of our planet it is made. However, it still remains difficult to establish mechanisms to hook them in an interdisciplinary school project that allows them to not only learn and create social awareness, but can repay them in the credits of his career.
At the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, students of engineering careers carry an introductory physics course that allows them to gain the knowledge and skills necessary minimum to perform successfully in the following semesters. It being the only objective of the matter was decided to incorporate a project at the end of the semester in which they could give meaning to their knowledge with actual observations of their environment.
Some of the experiences gained during two years in which from the subject of introductory physics and by SCOOL program developed by NASA, is presented in this paper students were encouraged to observe clouds and report related phenomena they. some skills, abilities and extracurricular skills were developed and carried beyond the classroom, even sharing what they learned with family and friends.
