- Abstract
This paper present outcome of national project focussed on mapping and analysing of capacities and needs of Czech organisations involved in space R&D. This investigation includes private companies and industry, universities, and institutes of the Czech Academy of sciences with space heritage and/or with potential to participate on space projects. Collected information about 150 Czech entities was organized into complex knowledge base, which was created for these purposes. The knowledge base is public domain with four level of access and security level with respect to sensitive data. The database provides information in Czech and English language. All collected data has served as input for analysis of status and potential of Czech industry and academia. The main goal of the project is to support decision making of national public administration bodies and other organizations competent in coordination and funding of Czech space activities in international and bilateral programs by high quality information. The associated goal is to raise awareness of foreign space research organizations about space capacities in Czech organizations and support thus international cooperation. The project was supported by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (grant no. LE14006).
