- Abstract
Commercialization of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) is in real earnest and its market is expected to expand in a few years. Space flight opportunities will be open for many people and variety of roles. However, greater numbers of space travelers will result in less dedicated training and the less strict selection criteria, unlike current astronaut selection and training processes. We propose a new operational concept of medical care for general space travelers considering a potential demand for medical care service like a “Healthcare Room in LEO” in preparation to any type of medical incidents and healthcare/promotion.
