- Abstract
An overview of the development of Sounding Rockets (SR) in Peru since its initial phase to the actual development is presented. It comprises the development of the Paulet family Sounding Rockets including the development of the solid rocket motor, structures, aerodynamics and ballistics calculations, test and post flight evaluations. Also, it is presented a technical description of each SR design, the performance chart, the payload characteristics and a brief description of the main technical problems solved at each SR design. Additionally, a brief description of Punta Lobos launch base and launch operations is included.
