    Abstract
During the past 10 years, China has focused on the new generation launch vehicles and advanced space applications under the national space development plan, this is also accompanied by a space science outreach program in the detailed action plan of the mid-long term national space development plan for teenagers. At a national level, China has encouraged teenagers to participate in space activities actively, such as‘ Teenage dream’small satellites program developed by junior school students and the satellite was launch by LM-11 in Dec.2016 successfully. Also, Wang Yaping, Chinese second woman astronaut, taught high school and primary school students about space science in space. This helped the students better understand some physics ideas, like Newtons Law. At a civil perspective, kindergarten and primary school have launched courses and activities for kids to take a knee interest in space science, such as hand-made spacecrafts or small space-related inventions.

This paper introduces the status of the space education and outreach programs and presents the future direction of space education and outreach for the teenagers in China, which is a base for growth and progress in the program of cultivating talents.
