- Abstract
One of the key material for hands-on space education for students is cansat and cansat program has been performed in many countries. Korea has been doing 'Can-sat Competition Korea' since 2012 and Satellite Research Center(Satrec) at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology(KAIST) has been organizing this program. This program is an one-time-a year event and a few students could partipated in this event. To spread this cansat program, NARO Space Science Museum of Korea Aerospace Research Institute(KARI)has developed space education program, cooperating with Satrec at KAIST based on the 5-year experience of 'Cansat Competiton Korea', so that more students could meet this experience. In one or two day program, students can get hands-on experiences by aseembling a cansat kit which is developed by Satrec and launch it 100m high using large balloon and download data from the satellite. This paper will introduce the space education program of NARO Space Science Museum including cansat program which is adjusted for the primary and secondary level and the "Can-sat Comptetion Korea' as well.
