    Abstract
SPACE INSPIRIUM is a novel space technology and geo-informatics learning center in Thailand. It is the first museum in Southeast Asia that focuses on motivating people on the use of space, its applications and the innovations from it. With 3,000 square meter area of exhibitions, established just inside the Space Krenovation Park, Chonburi, it has already been visited by more than 120,000 guests after a year of opening. The aim of Space Inspirium is to inspire the young generation about the use of outer space and its tremendous benefits to the humankind. Due to its location, which is just next to Thailand’s satellite operation center, visitors could also learn and grasp the whole idea of what we can acquire from space, from the actual operation and the demonstrated applications simultaneously.

This paper shows the overview of Space Inspirium, its perspectives and its progress during its first year of operation. In addition, the international collaboration for space learning in the developing world, is also discussed. As a matter of fact that inspiring people about outer space in the developing world has never been easy, examples of the lesson learned are also presented.
