    Abstract
As commercial human transportation and outer space mining operations will become a new reality, there will be a need for a dedicated independent court system for arbitration and judicial proceedings for future space travelers, miners, and settlers. This study will focus on the need to create a new trial system for disputes that will arise from private human spaceflights which are apart from space exploration. We will first analyze the current legal regime of outer space dispute settlement, as well as the new functions of the former and its regulation; specifically, to continue the advancement of new purposes for space usage which have started to appear and should be separated from established existing mission frameworks. In the second part, we will discuss the status of space courts as a separate system and the proposed applicable legislation. New legal terms, definitions, and classifications that consider the emerging legal status with respect to domestic and international law shall also be examined. The third part of our study will then review how future space courts could be physically instituted in outer space within their own dedicated facilities such as on the International Space Station and human base settlements on other planets.
