    Abstract
    This paper provides an overview of the science prioritization efforts undertaken by the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine with regard to space exploration. It includes an update of past, present, and future reports overseen by several standing boards, including the Space Studies Board, the Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board, and the Board on Physics and Astronomy. It also includes a detailed description of the consensus study and peer review processes, including those of the Decadal Surveys.
