- Abstract
Though many studies and ground technology experiments have been performed in pursuit of the development of solar power satellites, there have been limited instances of experiments in space. This paper describes the adaptation of sunlight-to-microwave conversion sandwich module hardware for testing in space in support of space solar technology development. Previous testing and results are reviewed, and the goals and particulars of the sandwich module flight experiment are outlined.
