    Abstract
    Abstract
This paper has described several ideas related to facilities in a Marine Node of the Space Elevator system in the construction stage. The suggested ideas are grounded on the current marine technology especially in offshore resources fields.
Use of “Alternative cable”, “intermediate cable” method and other systems on a construction platform for controlling and handling the tether cable are suggested and described the outline. In addition, suitable dimension and configuration of a construction platform have been studied and verified the feasibility in this paper.
Although the construction of the space elevators has still been waiting for the advent of the suitable materials for the tether cable, it seems to be time to start planning and designing marine node facilities. It would be appreciated if the report has a role as the bridge between space and marine filed to realize the space elevator project.
