    Abstract
Since the establishment of the Agency in 2014, The main priority was to recruit highly skilled work force (since the number of vacancies was limited) to build a strong foundation for the agency to create a system to work based on. By 2016 the agency Launched several projects and needed the minds of creative fresh graduates to create and develop innovative ideas.
The Ministry of Youth was formed to harmonize youth policy across government, engage youth in the UAE with programs and opportunities to participate as well as to ensure that Youth is connected to their government. the Youth Councils are an Initiative of the Ministry next to other initiatives that are aimed to realize all the potentials and energies of the youth and encourage them in taking a leading role in decision-making, learning and growth, commensurate with global developments.
The formation of the council was in thought with the rising number of Youth in the agency which reached 26% by 2017. The council is a platform that supports the unique capabilities of the Emirates Youth in the Space Agency to create an attractive and supportive environment to adopt their ideas and achieve their ambitions to serve the Space Sector. Thus the empowerment of youth creates future leaders that drives the Space Sector towards The UAE Centennial Plan 2071.
We work through the council to implement space culture and to develop the Youth at the Agency to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and empower them in the reconstruction of the present and lead the future of space through the launch of innovative initiatives and innovative solutions to the challenges of the Space Sector.
An overview of the UAE Space Agency Youth Council will be presented.
