Space tech in Hollywood: An Alien experience

- Abstract
This paper will report on the experience of new-space company PTScientists working with Hollywood director Ridley Scott to integrate a piece of space hardware into a feature film. With support from Key Technology Partner Audi, PTScientists’ lunar rover appears in the latest instalment of the iconic Alien franchise: Alien Covenant. The paper will evaluate the pros and cons of the partnership, as well as the media outcomes, and report on the lessons learned from the experience.
