    Abstract
Day by day we see more and more news on the media on space affairs, many of which doesn't reflect the truth. For some of these news, there are some supporting organisations which claim these news or sources as accurate. The most famous of these organisations is the flat earth society. While we may think that educated people wouldn't fall for these kind of fake news or information, they in fact fall for it. That leads to the question whether the education we get is enough to distinguish the fake from the real. As students of a high school, we wanted to thoroughly investigate this topic and see how well or bad people who are educated on astronomy and space sciences can distinguish real and fake news compared people who didn't get this education.

This study presents the statistical analysis of a poll applied to students with astronomy and space science education and students with no astronomy and space science education.
