    Abstract
Galileo is Europe’s Global Satellite Navigation System (GNSS), providing improved positioning and timing information with significant positive implications for many European services and users. Since the 1st of July 2017, the European GNSS Agency (GSA) officially took over the responsibility for overseeing the operations and service provision for Galileo.

The GSA’s responsibility of overseeing the Galileo service provision includes managing the Galileo Service Operator (GSOp) activities at the Galileo Control Centres and remote facilities across the world, operating the Galileo Security Monitoring Centre (GSMC), overseeing the European GNSS Service Centre (GSC) in Spain and overseeing the Galileo Reference Centre (GRC) in the Netherlands. In addition, the GSA is in charge of fostering the market uptake by maximising Galileo adoption across user market segments. Simultaneously, additional satellites continue to be added to the Galileo constellation and the ground segment continues evolving, allowing higher precision and availability.

This paper will present the results of the Galileo service provision in the last period, will highlight the main events and recent evolutions of the services, and outline the plan for further evolutions in the future.
